Tips n' Tricks

I added a bunch of tips and tricks to the CoH page today. You'll find a few video examples there as well. The area is a 'work in progress' and so will constantly receive updates and new material. I hope to get the custom maps section up and running soon too.

I'd like to see more 1v1's and 2v2's going. We've had a few games verses each other but more is better so lets get playing!! Pair up, pick a strategy and start challenging each other.

3 the Allies (they quickly were known by that old term) expected Hitler to
turn on them quickly. He fooled them and the world by keeping a garrison behind the facade of the Siegfried Line facing France's vaunted Maginot Line during the
winter of 1939-40. France's sprawling concrete
warrens and tank barriers were
new engineering marvels devised to prevent the appauling trench warfare of World
War I. French troops, convinced of Maginot's impregnability, huddled in
confidence despite their failure to connect with Belgium defenses. British
soldiers, happy with the winter Sitzkrieg, or "phony war", enshrined it in
song:

We're gonna hang out the washing on the Siegfried Line,

Have you any washing, Mother dear?

We're gonna hang out the washing on the Siegfried Line,

'A cos the washing day is here.

Whether the weather may be wet or fine,

We'll just rub along without a care,

We're gonna hang out the washing on the Siegfried Line,

If the Siegfried Line's still there.

Hitler correctly gambled that the French would not venture out of their forts
and moved to deal with other parts of Europe, while his newly resurgent navy
threatened Britain's sea power.
